Making Space is a development organisation which promotes excellence in contemporary craft, design and visual arts.
Based in a bespoke venue, Making Space offers affordable studio spaces to makers producing high quality work and offers creative classes in its jewellery and ceramics studios, which are open to the public. Making Space supports individual artists and designer-makers through portfolio advice sessions, networking, exhibition, teaching and workshop opportunities and maker development.
Specially tailored projects are organised to inspire, challenge, skill-up, engage and build new audiences for the sector and to demonstrate how craft is part of every day lives
