Ian Parkin is an independent Interpretive, Heritage and Tourism Consultant with over 26 years experience in the feasibility, planning, design, development and management of visitor destinations including natural and cultural heritage sites, visitor and gateway centres, interpretive centres, museums, visitor attractions, country parks, forests, canals, castles and cathedrals.

He is regularly working in World Heritage Sites, National Parks, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Scheduled Ancient Monuments, listed buildings, historic houses and historic gardens.

He specialises in Heritage Lottery and other funding sources and his work has generated over £50m of funding in recent years.
