Spadework’s garden centre, farm shop and café, in the pretty village of Offham, provide a friendly and warm welcome to customers, 7 days a week.

Spadework is a charity, which offers life skills training and work experience for Adults with learning difficulties and other disabilities at their garden centre, farm shop and café. Their aim is to support Trainees to develop their personal skills through social interaction with the community and experience of working in a commercial environment by working in all areas of the business. Trainees are also responsible for maintaining the site and growing fruit and vegetables to be sold in the farm shop, monthly Farmers’ Markets or used in the café. Trainees have the opportunity to participate in woodwork, craft and IT, gaining an understanding of how these areas support Spadework as a whole.

The Farm Shop and monthly Farmers’ Markets offer quality produce from small local producers, including essentials like fresh bread, cakes, meats, home cooked hams, fruit and vegetables and luxury items including the award winning Chapel Down wines, fruit flavoured liquors, luxury chocolates and hand-made fudge.

The Café specialises in home-cooked meals, using local ingredients making it perfect for coffee and cake, a light lunch, or an excellent Sunday Roast.

The garden centre stocks everything you will need to keep your garden looking lovely, including home grown plants, seeds, bulbs and a selection of garden accessories.
