Overall Info
We are the Rape Crisis service for Brighton and Hove. This means that we support women who have experienced:
- rape or sexual assault
- childhood sexual abuse
- ritual / organised abuse
- unwanted sexual experiences
We also support friends, partners, parents, external agencies and other supporters of those impacted by sexual abuse and violence. Our advocacy service supports people of all genders, and our counselling service supports 14-18yr olds of all genders and 19+ yr old self-identifying women.
We know that it takes a lot of courage to seek help for the effects of sexual abuse. It takes strength for everyone involved to speak out. We believe that with the right support people can and do heal from their experiences.
