Welcome to Cambridge Union Society and thank you for your enquiry. Our location is central to the historic city and within walking distance to the most famous of Cambridge's colleges, the river and the quintessential punting trip and many of the finest restaurants around. We are the oldest debating society in the world (est 1815) and regularly host leaders and pioneers in all fields; with recent guests including Professor Richard Dawkins, the Dalai Lama, Julian Assange & Katie Price, so whether you'd like hot drinks and pastries on arrival, hot buffet lunches and or a sit-down evening dinner, we can organise everything for you in our unique venue in Cambridge, making it a truly unusual venue to hold your event.
