Reaching out to young people through the magic of theatre, helping them overcome the barriers and disadvantages in life, enabling them to unlock and utilise the potential that lies within every child.

Wight Stars is a nonprofit Community Interest Company. The company began trading in November 2012 and specialises in the delivery of theatrical performance workshops, training courses, live productions and community/ festival events.

Wight Stars Managing Director Matt Reed knows from his own experience the powerful effect becoming involved in drama and dance can have upon someone, providing a development of self-esteem and confidence, as well as goal orientated structure and a strong team working ethic, skills that will follow a young person throughout their life.

Being involved in theatre is a fun and dynamic experience, full of exciting new experiences to be had and people to meet. It is a fantastic way for young people to learn a multitude of new skills across a wide variety of activities.

A highly passionate and dedicated staffing team has enabled Wight Stars to gain tremendous momentum within a short time span, and this enthusiasm will bring with it many more new and exciting developments.
